If you didn’t go to the opening of the Greek and Roman Galleries at the Met this weekend, get there ASAP! The transformation of a former dreary restaurant into an incredible collection of Greek and Roman artifacts astounded us. Includes busts and statues galore, jewelry, carved stones and badges and even a full-size chariot that was uncovered by a farmer in 1902.
While there’s not much in depictions of man love on the art, you’ll see plenty of it in the visitors to the gallery! Really, it was tote bag central there this weekend.
