If you live in Manhattan, you must go to the Chelsea Clearview Cinema tomorrow night for a big screen presentation of Queen Bee, starring Joan Crawford and hosted by local drag queen Hedda Lettuce (she’s a rare funny one).
In case you’ve been under a rock your whole life, the movie tells the story of a rich Southern matriarch in a loveless marriage with a man who’s completely under her thumb. The Queen’s throne is upset when her pretty, younger (don’t tell Joan!) cousin comes to visit and the husband falls in love with her.
Tickets are only $6.50, but you can only buy at the box office. Complain about it to Scott, the manager.
