7/23: The Sting On the Big Screen

The Bryant Park Summer Film Festival continues tonight at sunset with a screening of The Sting (1973). Too bad its pouring rain right now, but then maybe you’ll get a great seat.

The film tells the story of con man Johnny Hooker (a young and gorgeous Robert Redford) and his attempt to con millions from the man he holds responsible for his partner’s death. Also stars Paul Newman and Eileen Brennan, all in fabulous 1930’s costumes.

Free to the public, get there way early. No chairs or plastic sheets, please.

Monday, July 23rd
